Ideal for specialty and general retail markets, the 2800 Series is designed using the latest Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron processors and can be scaled to meet any retailer's needs. Its open architecture provides retailers with best of breed peripherals and uses industry standard interfaces.

- Internal cable routing so no peripheral cables are exposed. This improves appearance and saves valuable counter space.

Your investment is protected because the 2800 Series has been designed as a truly open system. The 2800 Series supports applications for Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, and offers JavaPOS and OPOSdevice drivers for all system peripherals.

Your on-going operating costs are reduced because the 2800 Series is designed usigng Intel long-life, embedded chip sets to maintain stable version control. This eliminates costly software application changes. A removable hard drive and a front access USB port simplifies support and speeds up service.
MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS
There are a number or different, configurations to fit your retail environment. The 2800 Series is available with a dual removable hard drive option, RAID functionality and a 15 or 17 LCD monitor, as well as options for serial, USB and powered USB input/output port configurations.
GREATER UPTIME
To make it easier to upgrade, support and service, the hard drive, logic module, ports and cables can be easily accessed from the front of the unit. Modules can be quickly exchanged. Front access to all cables makes it convenient to change peripheran connections.
COMPACT DESIGN
The sleek design is about more than contemporary good looks. The 2800 Series is designed to take up less real estate than convectional POS systems. Cables are routed internally to improve apperance, and with an internal power managemente system, only one power cord is needed.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
The 2800 Series gives you all the proccessing power you´ll need from Celeron to Pentium 4. System memory can be varied to fit your processing needs, and expansion slots are available. Options include an internal high-speed DVD drive.
