Multifunction 12'' LCD Desktop Touchmonitor (3000 Series). The Elo 1229L 12" LCD multifunction touchmonitor is a continuation of Elo commitment to increased value in new products. Elo has taken its industry leading monitor design, which is unbeatable in performance, reliability, and durability, and accessorized it. The new 1229L includes options for an magnetic stripe reader (MSR), a rear-facing customer display, and a biometric fingerprint recognition device. These options are integrated ergonomically into the housing and designed to flow with the elegant styling of the monitor. The three-track magnetic stripe reader is the perfect choice for applications that require the use of loyalty cards, ID cards and credit-card transactions. The rear-facing display gives the customer immediate visual confirmation of the transaction. And the biometric fingerprint-recognition device provides unparalleled security for employee log-in and all types of system access. Elo's design has reduced the number of power and communication cables and power bricks by incorporating the connectivity inside the monitor. The 1229L allows for a quick and easy installation while providing full functionality in a space-saving design. The 1229L is available with a choice of Elo touch technologies: IntelliTouch surface-wave, CarrollTouch infrared and AccuTouch five-wire resistive. Touch input can be activated by the broadest range of styli, including finger, fingernail, gloved hand, and credit card; there is no stylus material limitation. The 1229L touchmonitor is fully configurable for a variety of applications in the retail, hospitality, medical, and gaming markets, where its compact design efficiently saves valuable work space. Elo 1229L Specifications
The 1229L multifunction touchmonitor may be ordered with up to three integrated peripherals, including an ergonomically-placed magnetic stripe reader (MSR), biometric fingerprint recognition device, and a rear-facing customer display. All are incorporated into the monitor housing and designed to flow with its elegant styling. Available with a choice of touch technologies, the 1229L is fully configurable for a variety of applications in the retail, hospitality, medical, gaming, and amusement markets where its compact design efficiently saves valuable work space as well as minimizing connections.
