The SCANTEAM 2000C-1 Series is a versatile, compact and rugged interface which adds bar code, mag stripe and MICR automatic data entry capability to IBM, NCR, Fujitsu, Nixdorf and other popular PO terminals, PCs and CRT terminal-based systems. The ST2000C-1 supports keyboard wedge, parallel (OCR), single and dual port series RS-232, OCIA and IBM 4680 synchronous interfaces. The two scanner ports accept all types of hand held bar code scanners including Hand Held Products SCANTEAM Series solid state lasers, contact wand scanners, the ST3400 CCD scanner, and the ST8300 MICR check reader. Dual or triple track credit card data input from the ST6901 is via the MSR port; RS-232 data input is via a bidirectional auxiliary port. The ST2000C-1 Series is fully programmable, allowing data input to be formatted according to an application's program definitions. Its advanced data formatting capability and universal design protects against obsolescence.
